SURF

Hooked Since the First Wave
Ever since catching my first wave as a boy on the shores of Waikiki, I’ve been drawn to the ocean. From longboarding in Southern California with the locals to surf safaris along the coast, I’ve experienced firsthand the thrill, challenge, and demands of surfing.

Understanding the Demands
Surfing requires a rare combination of strength, endurance, balance, agility, and body awareness. The ability to transition from paddling to standing while adapting to the unpredictability of each wave places unique stresses on the body, especially the shoulders, spine, and core.

Specialized Care for Surfers
With my background in orthopedics and sports medicine, I help surfers recover from injuries, improve mobility, and strengthen the key movement patterns needed for performance in the water. Whether it’s a nagging shoulder, a low back issue, or improving paddle endurance, my care is built to keep surfers in rhythm with the ocean.

Respect for the Ocean
Having spent countless hours in the water, I appreciate both the risks and rewards of surfing. My approach blends clinical expertise with a surfer’s perspective, ensuring care that not only heals but also supports longevity in the sport.

Professionally have promoted board sports to adaptive athletes, overmoing physical boundaries. Life Rolls On organization, personal efforts and advocacy.

SNOWBOARD/SKI

Ski & Snowboard Medicine

From Midwest Hills to Mountain Peaks
Growing up in the Midwest, I learned to ski and snowboard at an early age and spent winters tuning, waxing, and sharpening gear in the back of the local ski shop. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed slopes from the local hills to the world-class ranges of Colorado, and now living in Las Vegas, I frequently ride at Lee Canyon.

Understanding the Demands
Snow sports place unique stresses on the body—requiring strength, endurance, balance, and control in constantly changing conditions. Whether carving groomers, charging powder, or hitting terrain features, the knees, hips, and core all take on significant demands.

Injury Prevention & Conditioning
I design programs to prepare athletes for the season, improve resilience, and reduce risk of injury. With the right preseason training and in-season management, skiers and snowboarders can stay strong, mobile, and ready for the slopes.

Rehab & Recovery
When injuries do happen—whether it’s a knee tweak, shoulder crash, or overuse fatigue—I provide targeted rehab to get riders back on snow safely and efficiently. My goal is to help every enthusiast maximize their season and keep shredding fresh powder.

Skateboarding Medicine

Rooted in Skate Culture
Having lived in Venice Beach—the birthplace and mecca of skateboarding—I was fortunate to immerse myself in skate culture and community. From cruising boardwalks to supporting adaptive skate events, skateboarding has been both a passion and a lifestyle.

Understanding the Demands
Whether it’s the daily grind of using a board for transportation, longboarding with speed and flow, or the impacts and slams from the skatepark, I understand the toll skateboarding takes on the body. Knees, ankles, wrists, and shoulders are all constantly tested through repetition, falls, and progression.

Performance & Longevity
I help skaters of all levels—from casual cruisers to competitive riders—improve their strength, balance, and resilience. My approach blends injury prevention, mobility training, and performance conditioning to keep skaters progressing while staying safe.

Rehab & Recovery
When injuries happen (as they inevitably do in skating), I provide rehab that respects both the culture and the athlete—getting skaters back on their boards with confidence while supporting long-term health and skill development.
